  2. michele carr says:

I’m not sure what he was selling but his talk was excellent. Made me think. Made me squirm. Made me change. I will have to listen every day for awhile to keep it firm in my mind.
Outstanding – thanks for the link
    michele

    • Bryan Zimmerman says:

      Hey Michele,

That’s the thing, he wasn’t selling anything. He’s just a guy who was homeless for 2 years and completely turned his life around using a lot of what he’s talking about in the video.

  3. bill evans says:

    bloody brilliant mate

  4. Sally says:

    Hey Bryan

I watched this on Facebook the other day and I totally love it, I love how he explains how much you want success.

It’s seriously one of the best descriptions everrrrrr!

This video is going to pop up on many many many blogs.

    Thanks for sharing it.

    Sally :)

    • Bryan Zimmerman says:

      Hey Sally,

      Good to see ya!

Yea, I imagine this one is going to go viral pretty quick. The description of “how bad do you want to breath” was dead on IMO.

  5. Richard Duszczak says:

    Hi Bryan,
Absolutely great video! I totally agree with what you are saying. I know from experience, when I started out as a freelance cartoonist 28 years ago I wanted to be successful sooooo bad. I worked all hours learning everything there was to know about cartooning. Many artists who were a hundred times better than me failed where I succeeded because ‘I wanted it more – much, much much more!’. They didn’t have the drive I had.
Your video reminded me I must keep focused on my goals even after all these years!
    Great stuff,
    Richard

    • Bryan Zimmerman says:

      Hey Richard,

Funny how that works isn’t it? Want something bad enough and you find a way to make it happen.

Congrats on your success as a cartoonist! I wish I could draw, even a little. Unfortunately, I can’t draw a straight line with a ruler :)

  6. Michael Fletcher says:

    Hey Bryan,

Thanks a million for the link to the video, I can totally appreciate what this guy is saying and I am personally GUILTY of doing the exact thing that he is talking about.

When my favourite programme comes on t.v I’m like straight down from my office to watch it. To my defence it does only last 1 hour.

Does this mean I will never be successful though?

    Mike.

    • Bryan Zimmerman says:

      Hey Mike,

No, it doesn’t mean you won’t ever be successful:) His point was would you be willing to miss it if you knew it would get you even 1/2 a step closer to being successful but without you knowing it. How much are you willing to sacrifice to get where you want to be.

Lol, I’m guilty every football season when the Dolphins are on. Although there have been a few times I’ve watched the game while working.

  7. Mike says:

It was very good. He is obviously a really good motivator and salesman. Really though, it was so full of cliches I was expecting to be signed up to a time share in Florida.

    • Bryan Zimmerman says:

      Hey Mike,

Haha, he does come off a little over the top I’ll agree, but the message behind it is what was solid. And very true.

  8. Gary Mahon says:

Awesome! thanks, guess I am not going to bed!!! hahahahha

  9. Keisha says:

    Re-energized me!

    I’m committed to fail until I become :-) .

In the words of Otis Redding , It’s been a long time coming…but it’s gonna come!

Can’t wait until Newbie University opens up.

    Thanks,
    Keisha

    • Bryan Zimmerman says:

      Hey Keisha,

Been a long time since I’ve heard someone quote Otis Redding! Love it!

  10. Jackie Evancho says:
